Since moving a few weeks ago I've found simple things to keep me busy during the day. Crafting and painting being two but also practicing tricks with this guy. Can I tell you how hard it is to hold a treat in one hand, balance an over sized camera in the other and be far enough away to catch his whole body... yeah I need an assistant next time I try to shoot a trick session with this guy. But, I had to post these pictures because he's just so cute and even though he yelled at me when I didn't treat him fast enough I still love the guy and will try again when I have some help ;)
Really bummed this last one wasn't full frame because he was doing his sitting pretty trick. Til next time, Bandit...

In addition to all the other cool things going on in the world of Mirrored Images, I've added a Newsletter! This is a great way for me to organize my thoughts in one place and send it out to everyone. It's like a pretty little bow tied on top of an awesome gift, right?! Here's a teeny tiny preview of what the October newsletter looked like, when it went out earlier tonight. Click on the image below to sign up for future editions. Hello, hey, hi, how's it going?!
It's been a while, so I figured I would have some explaining to do. Over the last three years I've been working full time in healthcare while completing my education to become a registered nurse. As of last month I am DONE! FIN! DUNZO! I am so excited to have my life back and enjoy time with family, friends, and yes... even you my soon-to-be clients. Since finishing the RN program we moved to Cumming, GA in a beautiful area called Vickery Creek. It's pretty exciting to be here, because it's very diverse and I've already started scouting some great future shooting locations. Forsyth County is about 45 minutes north of Atlanta which gives me access to quite a large population now. Although I am 2.5 hours away from my old stomping grounds in Greenville, SC I will still offer services in that area as well. I just love what Greenville has to offer for location shoots, so it's slightly selfish but I'm okay with that. And as always, I will be available for destination weddings wherever they may take me. I love traveling and now that I have the time to not only photograph destination weddings, but to enjoy the time there I am more than ready to hop on a plane and be there for you!
With the help of my web lady (link at the bottom of the site) Rachel, we've given the web site a slightly different look just to kick start this new beginning. I went with a more simple and clean look. I am, however, keeping the logo which is a miracle for me because I change logo's just about as often as I change my hair color but this one is sticking because I love it. Yes, I have committed to a logo!

West Palm Beach Photographer | Maternity Photography
About a month ago I photographed my brother and his wife with their lil Mason on board and I just realized I never blogged about it. We photographed their maternity session at the Polo Fields in Wellington on a friend of Lisa's property. They were fantastic, we got to use Buttercup (their horse) as a prop and had full access to anything on the property. They were awesome, thanks again! So here it is:

West Palm Beach Photographer | Summer Lovin'
You show me love, I'll show you love. Sounds like a match made in heaven, huh? After a bit of down time, some mid day naps, and all nighter dates with me and handsome movie stars (okay... so I was watching movies, but I can dream right?) I decided I am going to dive head first into photography this summer. I'm enrolling in Fall classes and photography is going to be my lil love affair on the side until I reach my goal of being a Physician Assistant (5-6 years from now....)
Okay so here's the deal. You want free stuff? Well, I want to give you free stuff. There's no signing up, no contest, no rules. You talk to your friends who are going through moments that need memories (pictures) and you get a free session for yourself or to give to a loved one. It doesn't matter if it's a wedding, maternity, newborn, boudoir, engagement, trash the dress, singles profiles online, or whatever else you can come up with.
