March has been good!
I feel like I have a bunch of cheerleaders running around doing PR for me! I've been very lucky this month and the hard work of my clients has not gone unnoticed. If you have had or will have a session in March I will give you half off your next session. (Must be scheduled by May 31). Just a way for me to say thank you to the great people I have been blessed to meet and photograph.
A promotion I am running now and will probably have for a while: A client refers you to me and you book within 2 weeks of their session, you get $100 off the $250 session+cd package.
Get in touch with me asap if you plan to book in March... I am going on vacation March 27 to April 5th and I have a few more shoots this month before I go!

The Trotter Kiddies!
I have wanted to do a portrait session in a wheat field for a long time and while driving home the other day I found the perfect one... when we showed up today it was gone! Freshly cut! But, no fear this is SC and there are plenty of wheat fields and we drove down about a mile and found another great spot. Poor Reece was sick with a cold, you could see it in his eyes but he was a trooper and they all did great!

There are many changes coming to Mirrored Images and to start the process I rolled out a brand new look for the blog! More changes are coming to the blog, but for now... take a look and share your thoughts. There is a side bar on the left where you can become a face book fan and also a plug in at the end of each post where you can choose to share the blog with your friends and family via social networking sites and it only takes one click!

My son, the photographer
My lil man, Gavin, is turning 6 next month. He's had a child camera since he was 3 and tonight he asked if he could use mine. I cringed... but then I decided to let him try it out. He's a natural. I never let ANYONE take pictures of me but for the sake of education... I allowed him to and he rocked it. We didn't set up the lighting equipment or use an on camera flash but the fact that he was able to put the red square over my face and focus the lens... I am one proud momma!
Lynn’s Birthday Treat
Lynn turned 27 last week and I cooked her up a birthday steak! But... she wanted more! We talked about the new lighting equipment I purchased and we decided to do a birthday shoot to celebrate her 27th year of life. Well, little did we know that we'd be the center of attention downtown Greenville. A marine who is deploying in 2 days stopped and asked if he could have his picture taken with her, he said "You are a very beautiful lady." Train operators hung out of the windows and made animalistic noises. We cut the session short and decided to choose a less populated area next time. But here is a shot from this session and additional images can be found on the facebook fan page. I love you girl! Happy birthday!

Yesterday I spent time with the Rochesters in Greer to photograph lil Samuels second year of life. Happy birthday Samuel (at least you got a cup cake out of it!)

This event and all the fund raising leading up to it is going to be so self fulfilling to me and those helping. Every moment we put into this event is paying it forward and we can not WAIT to see the faces of all the deserving men, women and their families on Sept 12.
