Greenville Photographer | Michelle {Mountain View}
At the risk of losing fingers & toes this afternoon Michelle and I headed to a fantastic field that I have been eye balling for weeks. The wind was horrendous and made it a hit and run photo shoot. If I had to guess, it was below 0 but that's not an educated guess. :)
What I love about this field is that it's raised so all you see in the background are the mountains, the sky, and the trees. Foreground there are huge bales of hay that make it very country-esk. If it wasn't for the below 0 weather, this would have been an amazing shoot.
After thawing in the car we moved on to a local peach orchard to play with some sun techniques.
Thanks to Michelle for being an amazing sport and despite the sub arctic temperatures you did a great job!
Greenville Boudoir Photographer | (Mystery)Lady In Black {Sneak Peak}
Anyone that knows me knows I am extremely eager to post all my images to my site and Facebook right away! I love for my clients and their friends & families to see them asap. In general, Boudoir rarely gets posted on my site because it is an intimate session and majority of my clients like for their images to stay private. But when I get a client who doesn't mind the images being posted AND I have to wait to post them... oh man, that kills me!
The following lady is giving this special gift to her husband for Christmas (lucky man!) but with the use of creative lighting I was able to disguise her slightly and came out with this awesome speak peak. Because this is a gift, the rest of her images will be kept private so he gets to see them first! More to come after Christmas!
Greenville Photographer | Hip Hip Hooray!
My main goal since day one has been to make it to the front page of googles search results. I've tried outsourcing the project and been unhappy with the results. I've done everything that my research told me to do and it worked, but my final adventure is what got me to the front page. I am grateful for all the helpers along the way who made this possible. I've waited to announce it because I was afraid I would slip back. But, here we have it! Front page google for "Greenville Wedding Photographer."
(Ps- I know my screen is awesome... just saying' :) )
(PPS- I will be updating in a few days with my new branding -- I'm waiting for a few more items to arrive. I can't wait to share with you all!)
Hooray!
Spartanburg Family Photographer | Wes, Stef & Hunter
This family scores big with me. First off they're very good friends of mine and second they truly know the value of capturing special stages in their lives together. This is the third session I've had with them in the last year and each time I see lil Hunter he terrorizes me more and more! Capturing your little ones as they grow up is so important, because before you know it you're sending them to college!
Milliken is one of my favorite places to shoot at, no matter how many times you go there it's never the same. This time of year is my favorite, the tree's are beautiful and add a great pop of color. It's also very popular with my clients, and you can see why!
Merry Christmas to a wonderful family! I love you guys :) <3
Greenville Photographer | Tim, Becky, Logan & Lucas
Big Tuna & family came out to Greenville today to take part in my holiday special! (You probably want to know why I just called him Big Tuna, right? Tim & Becky are divers and Tim is on the dive team for Spartanburg. Does it make sense now?) Their adorable little men were so much fun to work with. Logan, the red head, and Lucas, the blonde, will definitely be heart breakers when they get older!
Becky & Tim chose the Rock Garden in downtown Greenville for todays session. It's been a while since I've shot down there and WOW for a Friday afternoon it was packed! There were two other photographers there and a few families just hanging out. It is such a beautiful area and very relaxing. The boys played bubbles, rode their bikes and played some foot ball with their dad.
My fav from the session was the reverse choke hold, as Logan called it. I love kids, they're so awesome to work with.
Greenville Family Photographer | Gavins Holiday Portraits
That's my baby! This is his 7th Christmas and I just can't get over how big he is. Even compared to his holiday portraits from last year. Reason #1 why photographs are so important! *Aaahemmm!*
We headed up Hwy 14 in Greer for his session today. I had to bribe him with candy to get him to do it. You think he's had enough already? I mean... it's not like I take THAT many pictures of him. I've never had to bribe him before! He's always been a camera hog! Does this mean I can't kiss him in public anymore, or call him "my baby" in front of his friends? No! It better not!
Happy Birthday To Us!
A year ago this month I decided to take the plunge and go out on my own, creating Mirrored Images. The web site went live November 12, 2009 and the blog shortly after. I've made several changes to every aspect of the business since then and I've learned a lot about running a buisness. Through the support of my friends, family and amazing clients I have been incredibly successful! Who woulda thunk it??
Being a photographer is more than just taking a picture. It's creating a moment in time that can be relived for years to come. I have been blessed with some pretty awesome clients who allowed me to capture their moments and I'm honored every time someone chooses me to do so.
As many of you have noticed my blog is now my main domain (www.mirroredimages.net) and I've given it another make over, a festive theme to go along with the celebrations. :) I will also be announcing our new logo and branding this month.
Help me celebrate and take part in this months special birthday promotion: 10% off for all sessions and weddings booked in November! (Offer not to be combined with other promotions)
Here's to an even better 2011! CHEERS!
Anne + Jeremy:: Married! {The Garden House}
OH my! Have you ever been to a wedding reception where the mom was dressed like a drag queen(on purpose) and dad did somersaults??? I HAVE!
I've been looking forward to this wedding all year and it was worth the wait. Many thanks to Christy Miller for being my second shooter! I'm glad you were up for this interesting wedding!
Anne and Jeremy started their adventure in a fairy tale at their ceremony which took place at The Garden House B&B in Simpsonville SC. Everything was perfect. They said their vows back and forth to each other, like a private conversation and no one else was there. The love they have for each other could never be mistaken. As their friends say, they were meant for each other and they can only hope to have a love like theirs one day.
Once the clock struck 6:00 the guests turned into animals, clowns, hippies and gangsters. The fairy tale wedding became a Halloween party with some pretty awesome costumes. Anne and Jeremys first dance was similar to moshing - I'm surprised I got a picture of them! They were all over the dance floor! Then it was dad's turn... He did THREE somersaults during the father daughter dance.... not ONE... not TWO... but THREE! I won't post that picture on here ;)
The event was catered by Elegant Gourmet Cafe & Catering and it was delicious!
When I tell you this wedding was like no other, I mean it. But one thing it did have was a lot of love. The love between Anne & Jeremy, the love of the family and the love of their friends.
Congratulations to you both and your families. You two are fantasic! Enjoy your honeymoon!
Beautiful Brides:: Anne’s Bridal {Garden House B&B}
Photographing Anne in her gorgeous magenta wedding gown was worth the flat tire getting there (LOL).
Anne and Jeremy are getting married at a charming B&B in Simpsonville, SC called The Garden House. The owners are a darling couple who have put together beautiful gardens and a vintage indoor setting that is perfect. This couple is anything but ordinary (my kind of couple!) and Anne was a pleasure to photograph. She was willing to do everything I suggested and it made for some beautiful images. Her mom, Becky and soon to be hubby Jeremy were also along for the session and were a big help!
