Sweet, sweet Emma. She was born March 6th, making her 5 days new for our session (which was Sunday, on Sabrina’s actual due date). Mom thought Emma was going to put up a fight, but after a good feed and some “shhhh” and head pats, Emma did just fine. She modeled my antique scale, new miniature wood bed (thanks to Mark!), a wire basket, and my pretty coral ruffle fabric. Grandma made a special request for a sleepy owl hat and after 3 crochet classes I finally got the hang of it and made it in time for Emma’s arrival. It was a little big (ok, a lot big) but moms bobby pins came in handy and we made it work! She was perfect.

Thanks to mom and dad for allowing me to photograph such a big event in your lives. I can’t wait to watch Emma grow!
